Farmer Palmer’s Adopt A Cow. Our beautiful cows are not only quality animals, they are part of the family on our farm.
Farmer Palmers is one of the few remaining family-run farms in the country.
It is an award-winning visitor attraction that has a commitment to high quality farm stock and preserving the continuation of some of the world’s most rare breeds.
We are very selective when we choose to increase the number of animals at the farm. Our cows stay with us and Minty has become a firm favourite for her character and charm. We are also helping increase the highly at risk animals – Swiss Valais sheep breed, made famous by Shaun the Sheep.
What Will Your Adoption Mean To The Cows
Our new adoption programme means you’ll be able to help keep our animals safe and well in this unprecendented time. Your sponsorship will contribute to the welfare of all our amazing animals on site. But in return we will be able to give you back more than merely a donation.
Animal adoption is the unique gift that keeps on giving, a great birthday present for adults and children alike.
Every year the upkeep of food & hay, straw and shavings for bedding, animal care and vets animal checks as well as licences, insurance and excellent standards of welfare costs a high % of our income each year.
The team who care for our animals with care and dedication are also an important part of the business.
Adopting an animal can make a real difference. It ensures we can keep going.

To ensure everyone has an opportunity to adopt (numbers are limited) Your adoption will last for one year, imagine the connection and interest your little one will have knowing their animal can reach out to them at home too!
